Structure – business law is all about structure. If you use and maintain the “right” structure, all will be right with the world, however, if you use the “wrong” structure, you will have many sleepless nights, liability issues, and likely pay more taxes than necessary.
So, this makes me a sleep consultant. I help you sleep well by working with you to develop the “right” structure. My multi-disciplinary education background and experience as well as having personally experienced divorce allows me to consider all the issues you have with your business and your own life.
I utilize unique business structures that can solve many problems you did not even know you had. For example, by utilizing the proper structure, an ownership interest in a business can be protected against divorce. By using other business structures, it is possible to implement a type of estate plan where your assets will never be subject to estate tax even after you pass them on to future generations.
